Supplementary Demand for Grant/ Supplementary statement of expenditure is a document which Government presents to the Legislature by way of asking for a sum over and above the sum already
granted by the Legislature during the current year for a particular service/function, or for meeting a new item of expenditure, not contemplated in the Annual financial statement (budget) for the year, vide Article 205 of the Constitution of India.

The Supplementary Demands for Grants involving Rs. 658.05 crore included in this volume comprise of the second batch of Supplementary Demands for Grants of the State Government relating to the financial year 2019-20 as detailed below:
Expenditure on Revenue Account
Expenditure on Capital Account
Expenditure on Loans and Advances
The Supplementary Demands for Grants include a total provision of Rs.658.05 crore. Out of which Rs.573.48 crore is towards Plan expenditure and Rs.84.57 crore is towards Non-plan expenditure.
